Toradora Ending

Tsundere light novel series Toradora! is confirmed as concluding in the tenth volume, to be released March; this is thought to coincide neatly with the ending of the anime, for an ending many are already praising for its discipline in refraining from becoming a long and

drawn out franchise more interested in merchandising than in coherent narrative.

Of course whether the ending will be any good or not is another matter…

As the anime has reached volume seven of the light novel series, this leaves three volumes to be covered in six episodes, which seems unambiguously to leave no room for a second season or otherwise (unless rather flagrant liberties were taken with the plot).

In fact the anime attracted attention from the start for the rate at which it consumed the original work; in retrospect it would appear this was a deliberate choice based on coordination between the production staff and the author, an arrangement some might like to see more often.

1/144 Cherdim Gundam
First seen when Lyle Dylandy, Neil's brother take over Neil Dylandy as gundam mister, being called as a amateur, he proved to be an expert sniper.

Special equipment for the Cherudim. SAGA is an abbreviation for Special Assault Gundam Arms. Assumed to be used for base attack missions. Therefore, all guns are changed to short barrels and it’s equipped with as many as seven guns (on its person). Ian Vashti, who was in charge of design kept in mind the “Seven Sword” of the Exia and actually referred to the Cherudim as the “Seven Gun” because of the number of guns it has in the development code. For close range combat, it is equipped with a crystal sensor in its head. Abandoning GN Shield Bits because they are unsuitable for battles in small areas, it instead carries a convenient GN Small Shield. On it’s back it has a GN Drive and added armor to make up for the lack of GN Shield Bits. The top section contains a GN Missile container.

  • Unit Type: close combat equipped mobile suit
  • Head Height: 18.0m
  • Unit Weight: 62.7t (Saga Equipment Weight: 3.8t)

Haruhi Second Series Airs in April

According to the latest commercial for anime rag Newtype, which had previously announced its announcement, the new TV series of the Melancholy of Suzumiya Haruhi will begin airing in April.

Fans are in shock, and are understandably having trouble accepting this news, but it seems genuine enough.

As you can see from the caps shown, the CM, voiced by Aya Hirano herself, introduced numerous images of the issue, showing off Haruhi related interviews and the like.

This CM has been confirmed by a number of viewers.

Iit is difficult to interpret such unambiguous wording as anything but a rather anti-climactic revelation regarding the release date for this incredibly highly anticipated title.

We will know more on the magazine’s release, by the 10th of February at the latest, but in the mean time it appears the prayers of Haruhi fans have finally been answered?

Kanu Unchou in China Dress

2 difference with this 2 picture, with without flash and with flash.

The eyes details are beautiful, in her china dress, however she still retain her fighting styles with her gloves. This is the 2nd of the 2 ikkitousen figure I own.

Guess how much I bought it? S$100++??
Nope, just S$50 at Anime Festival 2008. I still can't believe I get a good deal. If you look out others stores, it is still sells at least S$100 to S$150 in Singapore.

Japan Getting Bigger?

Since October 1st of last year, Japan has seen an increase in its available land. Numerous areas, including Tokyo, Ibaraki and Nagasaki, are growing larger, with Japan’s total land area now reaching 377,943.57 square kilometers (about 10% smaller than California).

The cities most heavily influenced by this were Tokyo and Nagasaki, with an increase of 13.58 and 8.93 square kilometers respectively.

According to the Geographical Survey Institute, the yearly increase in land area is estimated to be around one 25,000th of the total area of the nation.

And the cause of this not so puzzling increase? Polders, dikes, land reclamation, all are helping push back the sea in areas of critically high land value, which happens to be most cities considering Japan is 90% mountainous and thus unsuitable for much building.
